Borrowing Priviliges

  • Undergraduate Students and Administrative Staff. Undergraduate students and staff of the University are allowed to borrow not more than three (3) circulation books at a time for a period of three (3) days.
  • Graduate Students and Research Staff. Graduate students and research staff of the University are allowed to borrow not more than three (3) circulation books at a time for a period of one (1) week.
  • Faculty and Officials of the University. Members of the faculty with permanent or provisional appointment and officials of the University are allowed to borrow not more than two (2) circulation books due for one (1) week from date borrowed plus one (1) circulation book for a semester. Renewable unless needed by other reader.
  • Non-constituents of MSU - Constituents of educational institutions and other private individuals may be extended the privilege to use the library materials within the premises of the Library upon compliance of the following requirements:
    1. Presentation of a letter of introduction from their instructor/supervisors or librarian;
    2. Presentation of an Identification Card; and
    3. Payment of P5.00 per visit or P20.00 per week; P50.00 per semester as library fee.
  • Stack Privileges - Bonafide members of the University may for justifiable reason, be given access to the special collections on closed stack, such as: books and personal papers of Filipiniana, archives, theses and dissertations.
  • Reference books, periodicals, vertical file materials, clippings and non-print materials may be issued for classroom demonstration upon request of the faculty member and shall be returned within the day.
