DESCRIPTION:The Philippine Librarians Association\, Inc. – BARMM Librarians Council (PLAI – BARMMLC)\, in partnership with the University Library and Department of Library and Information Science\, will be hosting a PLAI BARMM Librarians Regional Council Summit on September 25-26\, 2024\, at the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management Pavilion. The summit will have the theme: The Library as a Digital Space for Diversity\, Equity\, and Inclusion and is expected to bring together 100 librarians and library staff. \nThe objectives of the summit are as follows:\n1. Develop skills in building collections within a Diversity\, Equity\, and Inclusion (DEI) context.\n2. Create library events and activities through the DEI framework.\n3. Enhance strategies for organizing libraries within the DEI framework.\n4.
