The Mindanao State University is pleased to invite researchers, scholars, practitioners, experts, and policymakers to the 2nd Philippines Small-Scale Fisheries National Symposium (PSSFNS 2) to be held at the International Convention Center of Mindanao State University in Marawi City, Philippines on October 21-23, 2025. The PSSFNS is an annual symposium of the National Consortium for Small-Scale Fisheries Research and Development or Too-Big- To-Ignore (TBTI) Philippines, a research network and knowledge mobilization partnership that focuses on addressing issues and concerns affecting the viability and sustainability of small-scale fisheries (SSF) in the Philippines. This year’s Symposium will explore actionable insights, ideas and policies relevant to advancing sustainable SSF in the Philippines through various platforms of discussions and presentations under the following eight thematic areas.
