Jamal Mamarinta Baulo is a graduate of BS Education major in Biology at Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology. He is a Professional Teacher, teaching Senior and Junior High School at Mindanao State University-Malabang Community High School. He is a community volunteer and a film maker.

He is the founder of the BigBang Productions and the Festival Director of CINEMAPIYA Student Short Film Festival in his school. He believes that media is the best influential tool that this generation can use to influence perspectives, cultures, and people.
