The Records Management Office (RMO) was established pursuant to BOR Resolution No. 19 series of 2020 during the 250th Board of Regents meeting on May 5, 2020.
As a state University, MSU is also governed by the existing laws and policies of the government. The RMO is the University’s method of complying with the mandates of the Republic Act No. 9470 otherwise known as the National Archives of the Philippines Act of 2007. Its primary function rests on the protection and management of vital University records.
Vision
The MSU Marawi RMO give priority in its responsibility to protect and preserve documents and records, not only as fundamental instruments for efficient and effective governance but also as essential tools for the preservation of the University’s history and cultural memory.
Mission
The MSU Marawi Records Management Office (RMO) fundamentally serve the entire academe. The office takes the vital role of readily providing services through functional, systematic and innovative records management.
