MSU–Taraka Community High School is one of the thirteen units under the Office of the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (External Units). It was established in 1967 through BOR Resolution No. 287 during its 27th meeting.

In line with the University’s vision to be recognized as a leading basic education institution that prepares students for success in a rapidly changing global society in the Mindanao Sulu – Palawan region.
