Mindanao State University proudly represented the Philippines at the iSpark International Pitching Competition 2025 in Nanchang, China, held November 25 – 27, 2025. Team ALGAEnesis won the Silver Award and placed Top 2 in the booth competition, while Team FarmWise earned the Bronze Award, marking a major achievement on the international innovation stage.
Team ALGAEnesis included Steve Francis P. Ladlada, Maicah Nur D. Caling, Pee Jay C. Patos, Jino C. Butaslac, and Afqar Zainoden M. Abdullah. Team FarmWise was represented by Janine Anino and Hughette Ainerey Eroy. Both teams were guided by Prof. Charlou A. Bautista, with mentors Prof. Art Marvin Aranas and Prof. Abdul Jabbar Lucman.
