Marawi City, December 5, 2025 –The Presidential Advisory Council (PAC) of the Mindanao State University System convened on December 4, 2025, at the ICTC Conference Room, MSU Main Campus, Marawi City, in preparation for the upcoming Board of Regents meeting.
The meeting was presided over by MSU System President Atty. Paisalin P. Tago, CPA, with University and Board Secretary Atty. Nur Elias Yusoph in attendance. All eleven Campus Chancellors and Campus Heads from across the MSU System participated, joined by key System officials including the Executive Vice Presiden Dr. Abdulcader M. Ayo, ShL, JD, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Minerva-Saminah M. Naga, Vice President for Planning and Development Prof. Rodrigo S. Baid, MSCE, Vice President for Administration and FInance Soraida A. Esmail, CPA, DM and Vice President for Research and Extension Dr. Glen A. Lorenzo.
During the session, President Tago emphasized the critical role of the Presidential Advisory Council as the primary consultative and advisory body to the System President, particularly in aligning campus initiatives with the overall strategic direction of the MSU System before matters are elevated to the Board of Regents.
The council received comprehensive campus-based reports highlighting the previous year’s achievements and all the planned programs, projects, and future activities for 2026 and beyond. Discussions focused on harmonizing campus-level priorities with system-wide goals in instruction, research, extension, resource generation, and infrastructure development.
