Prof. Corazon M. Mangelen, a Peace Advocate, is active both on Inter-Religious Groups like the Ranao Muslim Christian Movement for Dialogue and Peace (RMCMDP), the Panday Kalinaw (PK) and the Group of Women Advocates for Peace in the Archipelago (GWAPA) and on Cooperatives. She is a Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Trained and Accredited Facilitator and Mediator and have successfully organized several Cooperatives not only at the Mindanao State University Campus where she had organized three (3) successful Coops but also at the different Parishes of the Prelature of Marawi and at some MNLF Camps under MARADECA.
Prof. Mangelen is an Asst. Prof IV of the Department of Economics, College of Business Administration and Accountancy and its former Chairperson, and currently is the Executive Secretary of the Institute for Peace and Development in Mindanao (IPDM) of MSU, Marawi City, Philippines.
