Mr. Jopfler P. Ruedas is a University Instructor of Mindanao State University. He is a registered social worker who has been teaching as a faculty member since August 2017 in the Department of Social Work, Mindanao State University – Marawi. In 2019 to 2021, he was the chairperson of the Department. In 2021 to 2022, he was a special assistant of the University Registrar. Recently he was selected as a mobility scholar of the KA107 Erasmus Mobility Exchange Scholarship Program at ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal funded by the European Union. More than half a decade, he has been working tenaciously with integrity in honing aspiring social workers through relevant instruction and working with partner communities and organizations through research and extension services. He has been actively engaged in several thematic areas of the social work profession: youth empowerment, gender and development, family and child welfare, mental health and psychosocial support, peace-building and conflict resolution, disaster response and risk reduction management.
