Centered on the theme “Linis ko, Pananagutan ko,” Mindanao State University-Main Campus successfully executed a massive cleanup drive, “OPLAN Linisin ang Kapaligiran,” today, January 13, 2026. Led by MSU System President Atty. Paisalin P.D. Tago, CPA, the collaborative effort sought to enhance the campus environment and foster a culture of sustainability. Some University officials, faculty, and staff assembled at the flagpole grounds at 8:00 AM to commence the coordinated mobilization.

Various administrative offices and university units were deployed across designated campus sectors to ensure comprehensive coverage. To guarantee the initiative’s success, President Tago conducted an extensive campus tour, personally visiting diverse sites to oversee operations and ensure execution. His on-the-ground presence served as a significant morale booster for the personnel and volunteers involved in labor-intensive tasks, emphasizing the importance of accountability and hands-on governance.

Through strategic zoning and active leadership oversight, the administration ensured a thorough and efficient transformation of the grounds. This initiative underscored the administration’s commitment to providing a clean, safe, and conducive academic setting for the entire MSU community. The proactive approach headed by President Tago reinforced the university’s role as a leader in both education and environmental stewardship, proving that the MSU constituents remain dedicated to the upkeep of the university landscape.
