Hanifah Abdulrachman Batara is a University Research Associate I at the Institutional Research and Evaluation Office (IREO) of the Mindanao State University (MSU) Main Campus, where she currently works on fulfilling the office’s core institutional mandates. A dedicated public servant with more than 15 years of service to the university, Hanifah spent five years as an administrative staff member before dedicating over a decade to university research. She holds a Master of Public Administration degree and is a Civil Service Professional eligible. Throughout her career, Hanifah has contributed significantly to vital regional research projects, serving as a researcher and enumerator for the Endline Study of the 6th UNFPA Country Programme (2010), and as an enumerator for the socio-economic profiling and verification of MNLF combatants in Lanao del Sur under the MNLF Transformation Program. Her editorial expertise includes serving as an editorial assistant for two major teams: managing the backlog volumes of the Mindanao Journal (2007–2017) and working on the revival issue of the MSIRC Book Publication, Mindanao Art and Culture. Committed to continuous professional development, she has completed specialized training in Good Governance, Strategic Planning, and Research Writing.
