Makati City, Philippines – Atty. Paisalin P.D. Tago, CPA, the newly appointed President of the Mindanao State University (MSU) System, was honored at a prestigious dinner hosted by the Malaysian Embassy on September 7, 2025, at 7:00 PM. The event took place at Rumah Malaysia, Makati City.

The Malaysian Ambassador to the Philippines, HE DATO’ ABDUL MALIK MELVIN CASTELINO ANTHONY, extended the invitation to President Tago and members of the Board of Regents and system officials to mark this significant leadership transition at MSU. The gathering served as a platform to strengthen ties and foster collaboration between the Malaysian Embassy and Mindanao State University. Discussions also took place to facilitate MSU’s connections with additional Malaysian universities.

The dinner, hosted at the Malaysian Embassy, was attended by MSU TCTO Chancellor Dr. Mary Joyce G. Sali, MSU System Board of Regent Gracita R. Jacinto-Ali, the President’s wife, Sittie Norhaya M. Ambor-Tago, CPA, and other System Officials, including Executive Vice President Dr. Abdulcader M. Ayo, Vice President Soraida A. Esmail, Vice President Rodrigo S. Baid, and Vice President Glen A. Lorenzo.
