MSU-MAIN CAMPUS RESEARCH HANDBOOK

The MSU-Main Campus Research Handbook (ISBN: 978-621-96953-7-4) is the official reference on the University’s research policies, programs, incentives, and support mechanisms. It serves as a valuable resource for faculty members, students, and staff in contributing to the strengthening of the culture of research, publication, and scholarly engagement within the University.

This first-ever handbook was developed through the initiative of MSIRC Institute Director Mahid M. Mangontarum, who proposed revisions to existing research policies and introduced new policies and support mechanisms for approval by the MSU Board of Regents. Upon their approval, these policies, together with the University’s existing policies, guidelines, and procedures pertaining to research and publication, were consolidated into the Handbook. It was published by the Mamitua Saber Institute of Research and Creation (MSIRC).

The Handbook was approved by the MSU Board of Regents during its 274th Meeting held on March 31, 2026, through BOR Resolution No. 068, s. 2026, with the strong support of MSU System President Atty. Paisalin P. D. Tago, CPA.
