The Mindanao State University (MSU) System proudly sponsored a magnificent Pagana Meranaw for the reunion and homecoming of alumni from batches ’66, ’67, ’68, and ’69, held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the MSU-Marawi Campus. Under the esteemed leadership of MSU System President Attty. Paisalim P. Tago, CPA, the event drew a heartfelt gathering of pioneering alumni, who traveled from near and far to reconnect and celebrate their legacy.
The gathering was warmly welcomed with remarks from Dir. Hanimah Salic-Lao, RN, DPA of the Office of Alumni Relations and Career Center, and a short address by Dr. Abdulcader M. Ayo, Sh.L., Executive Vice President as he represents the System President. The festivities are colored by the Darangan Cultural Troupe who delivered a stunning special performance.
With the MSU System President’s generous sponsorship, this reunion stood as a triumphant celebration of MSU-Marawi’s pioneering alumni, honoring their enduring legacy and rich cultural heritage, with the Pagana Maranhao at the Meranaw Cultural Heritage Center as its crowning jewel.
