Mindanao State University (MSU) System President Atty. Paisalin P.D. Tago, CPA, pressed forward with his comprehensive campus inspection tour today, dedicating his visit to key health and medical units to assess and identify areas for immediate improvement.

The System President, whose administration has consistently highlighted Infrastructure Improvement, Development, and Digital Transformation as a top priority, visited the College of Health Sciences (CHS), the Medical Training Hospital, and the College of Medicine (COM).

The focus on these critical health units aligns perfectly with his recent address. During his 100-Day Performance Report on October 13, 2025, President Tago explicitly emphasized that the improvement of health services is one of his administration’s paramount objectives.

Accompanied by key System officials, President Tago’s hands-on approach aimed to personally inspect the existing buildings and facilities within these critical, health-focused units. The objective of the detailed inspection was to determine specific needs and formulate plans for rehabilitation, modernization, and necessary repairs to enhance the quality of education and healthcare services.

The visits underscore the administration’s commitment to ensuring that MSU’s future medical professionals train in leading-edge facilities and that the university’s hospital provides optimal care to the community.

President Tago’s ongoing series of visits across various MSU units—following his initial tours to offices, academic units, and dormitories—demonstrates his resolve to implement a “hands-on” leadership style and fulfill his Nine-Point Agenda. This agenda, as known to many, envisions MSU as a National Peace University and a “fortress of learning,” anchored on institutional excellence and sustainable development.
