Asst. Prof. Mohammad-Yusoph P. Mapia is the current chairperson of the Department of Public Administration. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Mindanao State University – Marawi Campus in 2012. As part of his commitment to learning, he applied for a scholarship program offered by the Indonesian government and completed his Master in Islamic Education (MIE) at the University Muhammadiyah Malang in Malang City, Indonesia (Cum laude). Furthermore, in order to expand his knowledge of public administration, he enrolled in and successfully completed his Master of Public Administration at Mindanao State University’s Marawi Campus in 2022. Hence, as a faculty member, he was convinced of the importance of students as future leaders and managers of the country, and thus the provision of quality education became his top priority.
