Biography

Sheen Casie Labitad Montila is a Registered Social Worker who ranked as Top 7 in the 2013 Philippine Licensure Examination for Social Workers.  She started rendering government service in 2013 as a Municipal Link of the then Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Province of Lanao del Sur and continued serving as a Project Development Officer II in DSWD Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Office. Driven by her passion to help the disadvantaged individuals, she and her husband established an enterprise that provided work opportunities for out of school youths, mothers, and students for several years enhancing their technical skills in storekeeping and life skills. In addition to being a Registered Social Worker, she earned a license as a professional teacher while establishing the enterprise. Currently, she is a faculty member of the Social Work Department of the College of Public Affairs in Mindanao State University Main Campus. Aiming to develop her professional competence, she is taking Master of Science in Social Work in the same university.
