Biography

Dr. Mustapha E. Dimaro is currently the Director of the Office of Admissions, Mindanao State University, Main Campus, Marawi City. He is an active faculty member of the university with the rank of Associate Professor-V and former chairperson of International Relations Department, King Faisal Center for Islamic, Arabic and Asian Studies handling various subjects such as Philippine Foreign Policy, Geographical Context in International Affairs, International Organizations and World Politics. He is also a practicing Shariah Lawyer since 2018 and handling several court cases. He is also a member of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Reserve Command, Corps of Professor with the rank of Major.

He earned BS International Relations, Bachelor of Laws (now Juris Doctor), Master in Public Administration major in Organizational Management and Doctor of Public Administration, Mindanao State University Main Campus respectively. Now, he is enrolled and taking up Master of Arts in Islamic Studies at the Institute of Islamic Studies at University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City. He published his research work to different international publications. He has been invited as speaker in various seminars, conferences on peace, Islamic leadership and governance. He is also a member of several academic, civic and non-civic organizations.
