Biography

Jauhary Dipatuan Maruhom is a dedicated professional with a diverse range of experiences and a strong commitment to serving his community. Having obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations and completed the Military Science Advance Course (MS-42) at Mindanao State University, Jauhary began his career as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW).

During his time as an OFW, Jauhary served as a Filipino Expatriate Manager for KFC Malaysia Berhad in Kuala Lumpur. He also worked as a Liaison Officer at the Office on Muslim Affairs – Manila Golden Mosque and Cultural Center. Jauhary further expanded his expertise as a Receptionist Supervisor at Saudia Airlines in Saudia City, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Later, he transferred his employment to Al Amoudia Real Estate and Development in Jeddah, where he held the position of Help Desk Officer (Maintenance Work Control) for KFSH & RC – King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center.

In addition to his international experiences, Jauhary has been actively involved in various roles within his local community. He served as a Contact Tracer for the MILG – BARMM during the COVID-19 pandemic and held positions such as Barangay Secretary and former Parent Leader of the 4P’s DSWD in Barangay Bualan, Piagapo, LDS. Currently, Jauhary works as a Computer Technician/Teller at MSU UBO – University Business Office/Finance Department.

Throughout his life, Jauhary has demonstrated strong leadership skills. He served as Batch President during his training in the Military Service as a Reservist in the 1006th RRIB-PA READY RESERVE INFANTRY BATTALION, Philippine Army, 10th RCDG, at the 1006th CDC – Community Defense Center in Kampo Ranao, Marawi City, LDS. Additionally, Jauhary held the position of Batch Secretary during his Military Advance Course Training, COQC – Cadet Officer Qualifying Course.

Jauhary has also taken on leadership roles in student organizations, such as serving as President of GAMAPU (Ganassi, Malabang, Pualas) Student Integration at MSU main campus. While working abroad, he served as Chairman of GUIDE (Ganassi Union for Islam and Development), a Saudi Arabia-based Maranao Muslim Organization. Notably, Jauhary was elected as the Overall PTA President at the prestigious International Philippine School in Jeddah, KSA.

Jauhary’s personal life has been filled with meaningful connections. He met his wife, Nadia M. Abbas, at a Filipino Chinese Restaurant in Jeddah, KSA, and they fell in love at first sight. They tied the knot in Nadia’s hometown in Barangay Bualan, Piagapo, LDS, with a memorable wedding Kandori party in the City of Madinah Al Munawarah, KSA. Together, they have four children, Junaid, Johaina, Johaira, and sadly, their eldest child passed away at birth in King Abdul Aziz Specialist Hospital, Jeddah, KSA. Nadia, also an expatriate, worked as a Staff Nurse at the Shiek Tarik Binladin Hospital in Madinah Al Munawarah, KSA.

Jauhary is the eldest son of the late Aleem Abdul Wahid M. Maruhom, a former Missionary of the Muslim World League in the Philippines, and Hadja Nashiebah Diaria Dipatuan, a BSEED graduate. He has two sisters, Junaina and Jalilah, and seven brothers,
