Prof. Mary Jane N. Gotostos-Zozobrado is a distinguished educator, researcher, and licensed chemical engineer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Mindanao State University, Marawi City. Her research expertise encompasses nanotechnology, photocatalysis, composite materials, and advanced materials characterization. She has authored numerous publications in Scopus-indexed journals and delivered presentations at international conferences. As an educator, she teaches core chemical engineering courses, mentors students, and contributes significantly to curriculum development and sustainable technology research.
She holds a BS in Chemical Engineering (Magna Cum Laude) from Mindanao State University-Marawi and an MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Philippines-Diliman, with thesis research conducted through a sandwich program at Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science in Taiwan. She is currently a candidate for a Doctor of Engineering in Materials Science and Engineering at Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology, having completed all academic requirements.
