Biography

Hannah G. Marquez is the Director of the Mindanao State University –  Manila Information Office.  She was initially appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of  Research and Extension of MSU  Main Campus when she first joined MSU in 2016 .  

Dir. Marquez manages the MIO Staff under the supervision and jurisdiction of the Office of the President of the University. She also directs in the collaboration with the liaison officers of other campuses and their respective campus Heads.

She graduated from Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Adventist University of the Philippines, formerly the Philippine Union College in 1988 and is a registered nurse. In the same institution, she finished her Master in Public Health, Major in Health Education . She has completed the didactic coursework and dissertation proposal in  Doctor of Public Health in the Adventist University of the Philippines, majoring in Preventive Health Care.   

As an Assistant Professor in the Adventist University of the Philippines, she was a Clinical Preceptor and taught Nursing and Public Health course subjects in the Undergraduate and Graduate programs namely, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Maternal-Child Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Workplace Health Promotion, Public Health Administration, Community Health, Health Economics with Land Reform & Taxation , Principles of Health, Alcohol, Tobacco and Substance Use Disorders and Mental Health and Emotional Stress Management among others.
