Rasid B. Salic, MPA, JD, Sh.L. is presently the Director of the Administrative Services Division. He was a consistent full scholar during his college degree until he finished his course in Agriculture Major in Agronomy in 1992. He graduated in Mindanao State University – Main Campus with Latin honor as Cum Laude.
In January 1992, he was employed in the university as Secretary in the Personnel Management and Training Division on contractual basis. He was later promoted to the position of Clerk III in the same office. During his employment in the university, he used his time and pursued his education taking up Master in Public Administration. In 1994, he obtained his Certificate in Government Management, and in 1995, he finished and graduated his master’s degree in Public Administration.Mr. Salic has attended various seminars, training and conferences that enhance his knowledge and wisdom. His devotion in Islamic tenet, experiences and quests for knowledge have propelled his enthusiasm to be efficient and effective not only in his career but even to his office works.
Since Mr. Salic is an idealist and epistemophile person, he pursued his education and enrolled in the College of Law in the same university. He finished his Law degree in 1990. He was promoted and occupied the position of Attorney III in the Legal Services Division in 2001.
His passion for knowledge leads him to participate in the special Sharia training and review. He took the Special Sharia Bar Exams and passed the bar in 2014. After he passed the Sharia Bar Exams, he was granted by the university to practice his profession and handled several cases in Sharia Courts. He is now a Sharia lawyer and public administrator
