Biography

Dr. Ma-ann M. Camarin possesses a PhD in Fisheries from the University of the Philippines Visayas and a holder of Master of Science in Aquaculture in Ghent University, Belgium. She was designated as Chairperson of the Fisheries Department since 2018 up 2021 and a member of the MSU-Marawi Institutional Biosafety Committee (MSUM-IBC). She also acted as Chair and member of the different committees in the College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences.

Currently, she is elected as the Dean of the College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences. Dr. Camarin is also a member of the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) and has acted as critic for articles in Scopus-indexed journal and also as member of the technical experts panel and evaluators for project proposals.  Currently, Dr. Camarin is actively engage both in administrative and in research and has an on-going project funded by DOST-PCAARRD.
