President Tago Joins National Push for Sustainable Fisheries

MSU System President Atty. Paisalin P.D. Tago, CPA, joined key stakeholders at the 3rd Philippine Small-Scale Fisheriws National Symposium held on October 21-23, 2026, at Batangas State University in Batangas City.

With the theme “From Action to Replication: Scaling Up and Deepening the Impact of Small-Scale Fisheries”, the symposium explored ways to turn research and policy into practical solutions that support fisherfolk and protect marine resources.

President Tago’s participation reinforces MSU’s commitment to harnessing education, research, and community extension in empowering coastal communities, protecting aquatic resources, and advancing sustainable livelihoods.
