MSU System President Atty. Paisalin P.D. Tago, CPA, witnessed the turnover ceremonies for new leadership across three vital university offices: the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, Extension and Development (OVCRED), the Meranaw Cultural Heritage Center (MCHC), and the International Affairs and Linkages Office (IALO).

A major transition occurred at the OVCRED, where the mantle of leadership was passed from former Vice Chancellor Dr. Fema M. Abamo to the newly appointed Vice Chancellor, Dr. Annie Mae V. Cruda-Berowa.

The President also witnessed the turnover ceremony at the MCHC, where founding director Prof. Sorhaila L. Latip-Yusoph, PhD, turned over responsibilities to Ms. Ayesha Merdeka M. Alonto. Concurrently, at the IALO, former Director Prof. Melba M. Angni formally handed over the directorship to Prof. Almahdi G. Alonto.

President Tago’s presence underscored the administration’s support for these offices, acknowledging the contributions of the outgoing officials while welcoming the the new officials who are set to steer the university’s research, cultural, and international mandates forward.
