Honoring over five and a half decades of dedication to preserving and promoting the rich cultural legacy of the Bangsamoro people, the Aga Khan Museum of Mindanao State University celebrated its 57th Founding Anniversary today, April 6, 2026. The event, held at the Aga Khan Museum Lobby, was themed: “Aga Khan Museum at 57: Celebrating the Timeless Influence of the Museum as a Steward of Culture and Heritage.”

In her welcome address, Bae Linang Nurlailah M. Cabugatan, the Museum Director, set a proud and celebratory tone, stating that fifty-seven years is not just a milestone of time, but a testament to resilience as guardians of Bangsamoro identity. MSU System President Atty. Paisalin P.D. Tago, CPA, graced the event and delivered an insightful inspirational message highlighting the museum’s enduring impact.

A key part of the program was the acknowledgment of the museum’s dedicated workforce, where a special recognition was given to the Top 5 Regular Employees and the Top 5 Contractual staff, commending their tireless efforts.
