Marawi City, Philippines โ July 31, 2025 โ Universitas Almuslim (Umuslim) from Bireuen, Aceh, Indonesia, embarked on a historic visit to the Mindanao State University (MSU) Main Campus in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur, to explore opportunities for academic partnerships and student-faculty exchanges. The delegation, led by Umuslimโs Rector, Dr. Marwan, M.Pd, was warmly received by MSU officials, including the Vice President Dr. Alma E. Berowa and Transition Committee member Dr. Abdulcader Ayo, together with other University Officials, at the universityโs OP Conference room at Dumocao Alonto administration building.
In11 addition to the formal discussions that took place, the delegates toured the MSU-Aga Khan Museum, the King Faisal Mosque, and KFCIAAS College, guided by Dean Atty. Jashim Abdulrahman and IALO Director Prof. Melba Angni. The tour provided them with insights into the rich cultural heritage and academic prowess of the institution. At the MSU-Aga Khan Museum, they marveled at the diverse collection of artifacts, each telling a unique story of the regionโs history and its influence on local culture. The King Faisal Mosques left a profound impression on the visitors, highlighting the spiritual and architectural significance of these landmarks to our University.
