This is to inform our dear MSU constituents of our upcoming changes to traffic and vehicle policies on campus grounds for added security and safety. A new set of vehicle stickers will be made available at the University Business Office. Application steps is attached and can be downloaded via this LINK: https://drive.google.com/…/1ANOz8S7GNqSOOP0W4w5…/view…
ย
Beginning January 2 – 19, there will be a vehicle registration period for all motor vehicles regularly parking or driving through campus. Students, faculty, staff, associates, and residents should use this time to register their vehicles.
ย
Then, from January 22-28, there will be a test run period to implement the new traffic guidelines across the campus. Please be advised that traffic enforcers will be monitoring the roads, but no apprehensions will be made during this test phase.
ย
Finally, the full implementation and enforcement of new traffic rules will begin on ๐—๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜‚๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜† ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿต, ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฐ. At this time, traffic enforcers will be able to issue citations and penalties for noncompliance. Key changes in traffic guidelines include designated parking zones for different vehicle types, speed limits on campus roads, designated pedestrian lanes, and restricted entry/exit points. Please be guided by the road signs on this post.
To register your vehicle or for more details on the changes, please contact Director Zuhair Gani, member of the Campus Traffice Management Committee at the Office of the President or at the University Business Office.
Let’s work together to make campus safer and more orderly for all, InshaaAllah!
Thank you for your cooperation.
